MCI is guilty of false advertising on their website
Long story short is that everyone should report MCI to the FTC for False Advertising. Their website claims the following:
1) That you can manage your account with Account Manager.
It is rarely possible to log into it.
2) That you can pay your bill online. To do this you have to log in to Account Manager, which is rarely possible.
3) That you can set up Auto-pay with a credit card.
This is not possible online and Customer Service cannot do it for you either.
4) They claim that Customer Service will answer the emails that you send them. They have NEVER answered any of the emails I have sent.

When installing new 5G cable in my neighborhood they damaged my home
after a year of trying to get in contact with MCI/ Verizon I could never get a straight answer out of them on how to get the damage fixed or for them to agree to compensate me for the damage

I called to cancel my services because my bill went from $67 to $79...which is too much for a land line..they are very arrogant and not even in this country..which is a recipe for disaster...bad customer service..you cannot understand what they are saying and they get hostile because you have to keep asking what did they say..

Trying to set up online account
I have continuously had trouble communicating with MCI customer service: when calling in the phone menu requests entering the acct number verbally, but it does not recognize certain letters, like "F". So it takes FOREVER to finally talk to a person.
Then they are not well-trained, and it takes forever to get a service order.
So, I am trying to set up an online account, but the website will NOT accept any "User Name" that we enter - though we follow the instructions exactly. There is something wrong with their Online Account set-up.
One would expect a national, telecommunications company to have a website that works.
We will be moving soon and I certainly will NOT contract with MCI again.

Customer Service is never available to Repair Downed Line
A local business phone has a Fast Busy Signal, indicating that their Line is down. (A slower Busy Signal indicates they are on the phone, which isnt the case).
ATT said this business has MCI as their phone service provider. But when I called all MCI Toll Free Customer Service numbers, the automated system could never connect me with a Representative. I suspect that MCI is a tiny phone company, as Ive never heard of it.
And their Website is Not Secure, indicating a very poor IT Department. I was hoping the MCI Repair department could fix the phone line.

I have had my identity & personal phone hacked since Feb 2020 till now denied ssi ssa due to being fugitive felon which I'm not & other issues right now my isp is mci communications new York zip 10123 I need advise on how resolve issue & my life back

MCI is absolutely the worse phone company for a landline. They disconnected my service for several weeks more than once. One time I was told they were discontinuing service in my area.
Service has been consistently disconnected for no reason considering the fact that my bill was always paid. Very hard to get in touch with this company over the phone. They keep you holding on for a long time or they simply don't answer the phone.

Unable to update my account
I have called three times to update my credit card info and have been unable to get the info into your system . Told by 3 different reps to call back again. What number do I call to get this info into your payment system?

Verification is needed pertaining to a security clearance suitability investigation, security clearance and associated programs initiated on myself by an unknown facility and or contractor January 1, 2016 to current October 22, 2021 involving, not limited to Police participation - local, county, state, volunteer fire, Military, Army personnel, public safety/equipment, aircraft's, and local participants.
I received verification prior years from Verizon however MCI was not outlined in the request.

Been trying to change our billing address via on the bill pay voucher, emails, website contacts, letters and faxes with NO CHANGES! Our forwarded is expired and no one will change our billing address so that we can pay our bill.

We lost our home in the Creek Fire last year and had not been in our house since the first of Sept. I have called numerous times and have NEVER been able to get through.
I have also emailed a few times and have sent letters a couple of times.
Our phone service carrier assured us that they had informed you of our loss, and a few more times as we continued to get billed by your company.
This year has not been easy on any person or business, but when you throw in such an enormous loss, to have other complications it is compounded immensely.
Please check into this situation and get back to us.
